HAVERFORD, Pa. – Lebanon Valley volleyball hung tight but fell to Haverford, 1-3 (21-25, 28-30, 25-22, 23-25) Thursday evening in non-conference play. The Dutchmen posted a .255 hitting percentage, led by senior Jess Raber's seven kills and .545 hitting percentage.

On the attacking front, senior Emily Hopkins again led the team with 14 kills, while classmate Joelle Snyder added 12 kills in the match. Five others posted three or more kills for LVC and senior Emily Perkins tallied 45 assists to help lead the effort.

The Dutchmen totaled six service aces, while the Fords doubled up their total. Junior Angela Kuperavage posted a team-high two aces.

Lebanon Valley registered 86 digs in the match, its second-highest total of the season. Four Dutchmen notched 10 or more digs, including Raber (16), Kuperavage (15), freshman Sasha Birosik (13) and Perkins (10).

The front row claimed five team blocks with junior Jamie Hawk leading the way with two solo blocks against the Fords.

The Dutchmen host the first annual MAC Crossover tournament on Saturday at LVC Gymnasium, with DeSales, #5 Eastern and Elizabethtown traveling to Annville. LVC faces DeSales at 10:30 a.m., followed by Eastern at 1:30 p.m.
