COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – A goal by Ursinus freshman Sarah Cogswell in the last minute of regulation sent the Bears to a 2-1 win over Lebanon Valley Friday afternoon. Junior Sami Young suffered the loss in goal after making seven saves.

Ursinus took an early lead, scoring 2:53 into the game with an unassisted goal from Jess Porcelan. Lebanon Valley tied the game late in the second half when sophomore Stevi Laird posted an unassisted tally at 81:56. The game seemed destined for overtime until Cogswell scored from the right side of the box.

Laird led the Dutchmen with six shots, including four on goal. LVC tallied 17 shots, including nine in the second half.

LVC continues play in the Swat Classic on Saturday with a 7 p.m. contest at host Swarthmore.
