ANNVILLE, Pa. – A goal from junior Sara Drabenstadt in the second half led Lebanon Valley to a 1-0 victory over DeSales Tuesday afternoon. Classmate Sami Young recorded her fourth shutout of the season, making five saves in the win.

In the first half, Lebanon Valley (6-4-1) controlled the pace with 14 shots, including five from sophomore Nicole Snyder. DeSales (5-5) posted three shots and each team had a corner kick.

Freshman Heather Tran set up LVC's only goal at 67:56, finding a streaking Drabenstadt on the left side around 30 yards out. The goal was Drabenstadt's second of the season.

DeSales posted seven shots in the second half for 10 total and had three corner kicks in the final frame. Lebanon Valley tallied eight shots in the second half for 22 total. The Dutchmen registered three corner kicks in the match.

LVC hosts nationally-ranked Messiah on Saturday at noon to begin Commonwealth Conference action.
