EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – Wilkes used two goals from Michael Turner to claim a 2-0 win over Lebanon Valley Saturday afternoon. Freshman Josh Lineaweaver made his second start in goal for the Dutchmen, making one save in the loss.

Lebanon Valley (4-4) started strong with nine shots and two corner kicks in the first half, while Wilkes (2-7) posted two shots and four corner kicks. The Colonels reached the scoreboard at 20:20 with Turner's first of the game, assisted by Tyler Young.

Wilkes added to its lead just after the half with Turner's second goal at 46:37, unassisted.

The Dutchmen recorded nine more shots in the second half for a total of 18 in the game, and Wilkes added six shots for eight overall. Lebanon Valley held the advantage in corner kicks with three to one in the final 45 minutes.

LVC hosts Misericordia for a non-conference game on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
