ANNVILLE, Pa. – A hat trick from senior Taryn Hallowell sent Wilkes to a 3-1 victory over Lebanon Valley in a rain soaked game Thursday afternoon at Herbert Field. Sophomore
Brittany Flood scored the only goal for the Dutchmen, the first of her collegiate career.
Wilkes (3-3) reached the scoreboard at 22:55 with Hallowell finding the back of the net after a scramble in front. The first half ended with the Colonels up by a goal. Lebanon Valley (3-3-1) outshot Wilkes 7-1 in the first, but Wilkes had the advantage in corner kicks with three to LVC's one.
Junior
Sami Young made the start in goal for LVC, playing the entire first half.
Hallowell started the second half where she left off, scoring her second of the game off a pass from the left side at 50:57. Her final tally came at 64:41 off a free kick taken by Maura Kelly.
Lebanon Valley broke up the shutout at 81:02 with a 25 yard shot from Flood, assisted by freshman
Katie Deardorff.
The Dutchmen recorded 10 shots in the second half for 17 total and had seven corner kicks in the final 45 minutes of play.

Becca Sykes made her second appearance in goal, playing the entire second half.
The Dutchmen travel to Susquehanna on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
