GLENSIDE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley volleyball opened Commonwealth Conference play with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-18) win over Arcadia Wednesday evening. The reigning conference champions, LVC has won six-straight regular season conference matches dating back to September 30 last season.

Jamie Hawk and senior
Emily Perkins recorded two service aces each.
Hawk had another strong game up front, tallying two solo blocks and an assist. Senior
Emily Hopkins also notched a solo block in the match, while freshman
Megan Schoch and senior
Joelle Snyder each posted two block assists.
The front line worked hard attacking with Hopkins and senior
Michelle Little leading the team with nine kills each, and Snyder adding seven kills. Perkins supported the attack, posting 30 assists in the match.
Kuperavage led the defensive effort, claiming 23 digs. Perkins recorded 10 and Little notched eight digs in the win.
“It was great to get the first conference win,” said head coach Wayne Perry. “We're off and running in conference play and look forward to Widener next week.”
The Dutchmen have the weekend off and return to action on Wednesday, September 21 when they host Widener in a conference match at 7 p.m.
