Nicole Snyder broke a scoreless tie with 9:42 remaining in regulation to post Lebanon Valley's second-straight win. The Dutchmen played strong defense for the final minutes of play to record a 1-0 win over Immaculata Monday afternoon at Herbert Field.
Lebanon Valley dominated the first half with 12 shots while Immaculata posted one. The Mighty Macs goalie Jessica Gaburo held tight, making eight saves. The Dutchmen also held the advantage in corner kicks, five to one.
The Dutchmen continued solid play in the second half, finishing with seven shots. Snyder found the back of the net after she connected on a lofted pass from the left side by senior
Christine Fraser. Snyder's goal was her second in as many games.
Freshman
Becca Sykes made her first career start for LVC, making three saves for the win.
LVC closes out a four game home stand on Thursday when it hosts Wilkes at 4 p.m.
