CARLISLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley volleyball concluded play at the Dickinson Invitational Saturday splitting two matches. The Dutchmen opened the day with a 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23) win and fell to Salisbury in straight sets (14-25, 22-25, 14-25) in the final match.

Three Dutchmen recorded double digit kills against Saint Vincent. Senior Emily Hopkins totaled 13 kills, while classmate Joelle Snyder had 12 and Michelle Little notched 11 kills. Three Lebanon Valley players also tallied 15 or more digs. Little had a team-high 20 digs, sophomore Hannah Free had 16 and freshman Jess Finlayson posted 15 digs.

Senior Emily Perkins had 48 of the team's 56 assists in the victory. LVC recorded two solo blocks, one from Little and freshman Megan Schoch.

“The match against Saint Vincent was very inspiring,” said head coach Wayne Perry. “We had a tough back line and used the entire team in the match. Freshman Sasha Birosik and Free were thrown into the mix and did a great job for the team.”

Salisbury dominated its match against the Dutchmen, limiting LVC to a season-low 27 kills. Senior Joelle Snyder led the team with seven kills. The Sea Gulls held Lebanon Valley to 27 assists, all from Perkins.
