ANNVILLE, Pa. - Eastern University blew the game open with a 9-1 run in the first half as they went on to a 22-12 shootout over Lebanon Valley in LVC's home finale on Saturday at Arnold Field.
The Dutchmen (6-7, 4-6 MAC) never gave up, going on a three-goal run late in the second half after falling behind by 10, but the Eagles (8-7, 7-3 MAC) scored the game's final three goals to win 22-12.

Amanda Cubbage#, as she played her final home game at Arnold Field. She finished with four draw controls and a ground ball for the game.
Eastern dominated offensively with a 38-18 shots advantage, but the Dutchmen were outstanding on draws, winning 21 of 36 including a 16-5 disparity in the first half. However, the Eagles' midfield and defense were relentless as they forced LVC into 27 turnovers and disrupted half of LVC's clear attempts (8-for-16).

Hana Krechel# led LVC with four goals, an assist, and seven draw controls, and #

Grace Griffith led all scorers with five goals and four assists for Eastern, one of four Eagles with three or more goals along with Jess Field (4g), Kendall Rood (3g, 2 a), and Krystal Cairns (3g, 3a).
Krechel scored the first goal off the opening draw to give LVC its only lead of the game, but Eastern answered back with nine of the next 10 goals in a high-scoring first half that ended with EU on top 13-7.
The Eagles extended their lead to 19-9 before goals by Clift, McGinniss, and Krechel in less than a minute's time made it 19-12, but the Eagles finished the game with three straight goals including free position shots by Sarah Hager and Chelsea Braungart.
