READING, Pa. - Alvernia ripped off 55 shots as part of an offensive onslaught as they won, 22-11, over Lebanon Valley on Wednesday in women's lacrosse action.

The Dutchmen (6-6, 4-5 MAC) were outshot 55-24 by the Crusaders (9-4, 5-4 MAC), who had three players score four or more goals.

#Hana Krechel# led the Dutchmen with four goals and an assist, while #Amanda Cubbage# and #Allison McGinniss# both scored a pair. #Lauren Grande# also scored a goal and had a helper in her return to the line-up.

Alyssa Verillo led Alvernia with five goals, while Allison Bainbridge scored four and handed out five assists; Felicia Sippel also scored four, with three assists.

LVC held a 2-1 lead early on, but Alvernia went on a 3-0 run midway through the first half and never looked back as it extended its lead to 9-5 at the half. Cubbage scored from the arc to open the second half and cut the lead to 9-6, but Alvernia scored five times in a five-minute span to take a commanding 14-6 lead.

#Erica Ameigh# made a career-high 23 saves for LVC, while Victoria Kearn (2 saves) and Jenn Czarnecki (7 saves) split halves for Alvernia, with Kearn getting the win.

Alvernia committed just 11 turnovers in the game while forcing LVC into 29, including disrupting 15 of LVC's 29 clear attempts while going a perfect 16-for-16 in transition.

LVC hosts Eastern on Saturday in their final home game of the season.
