OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Two late goals by Stevenson proved to be the difference as Lebanon Valley fell 3-1 Wednesday afternoon, eliminating the Dutchmen from the ECAC South Men's Soccer Championship.
Lebanon Valley got off to an early start with
Justin Hutchinson scoring his first of the season just 1:05 into the contest, assisted by
Kelly Hess. Stevenson quickly responded, tying things up over a minute later with a goal from Sean Scarsellett. The two teams were held off the scoresheet for the remainder of the first half and went into halftime with a 1-1 tie.
Lebanon Valley held a 13-4 shot advantage in the first half, while both teams notched three corners.
Scarsellett struck again at 72:09 for the go ahead goal and Ansger Otto added another with under four minutes to play in regulation to seal the victory.
Both teams registered six shots in the second half, and Lebanon Valley posted four corners.

The Dutchmen finish the season with a 9-9-1 overall record.
