Volleyball Stays Perfect in Conference Play

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lebanon Valley volleyball remained perfect in Commonwealth Conference action with a 3-0 win (25-16, 25-9, 25-9) over Lycoming Tuesday evening. Senior Joelle Snyder led the team with a .476 hitting percentage and 11 kills.

Senior Emily Hopkins and junior Nicole Barra assisted the attack effort with nine kills each. Freshman Megan Schoch added seven kills in the win.

Supporting the attack, senior Emily Perkins tallied 37 on the team's 38 assists.

The Dutchmen (13-6, 4-0 CC) totaled eight service aces in the match, led by three from sophomore Ally Stengel. Snyder and Perkins added two each against the Warriors.

Seven players recorded two or more digs in the match with junior Angela Kuperavage registering nine to lead Lebanon Valley, while Snyder added six digs.

Lycoming held LVC to just one block, assisted by Snyder and Schoch.

LVC hosts Neumann, Bridgewater and Frostburg State this weekend for the Dutchman Quad. On Friday, Lebanon Valley takes on Neumann at 5:30 p.m. The Dutchmen play Bridgewater at 10:30 a.m. Saturday followed by Frostburg State at 1:30 p.m.
