Box Score
CHESTER, Pa. - #2 Lebanon Valley scored three first-half goals to take control, then piled on four more in the second half to move past Widener, 7-1, in their regular-season finale on Friday.
With the Commonwealth Conference playoffs already set, the game was meaningless for both teams, but Widener (10-5, 3-4 CC) still had pride to play for on their senior day. LVC (17-1, 6-1 CC), the CC's second seed, will host third-seeded Elizabethtown on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in a playoff semifinal.
Jocelyn Novak re-set her own program single-season points record, scoring a goal with two assists to total 76 points this year. She also tied her single-season goals record of 35.

Widener's defense frustrated LVC over the opening half hour, but the Dutchmen finally opened up for three goals in the final eight minutes of the first half. Maxwell came off the bench to score first off Novak's pass at 27:05, and Vasey scored her 20th at 32:34 before Novak tallied with 28 seconds left thanks to Lobach.
Widener's Colleen Cormier converted her 14th of the year to finish a string of penalty corners to start the second half, but Lobach made it 4-1 at 46:37, and Eckenrode scored for the third time in four games at 59:10 off a penalty corner.
