ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley women's soccer recorded its first Commonwealth Conference victory Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 win over Albright. Senior Ely Kirkhoff scored two goals for the Dutchmen and sophomore Stevi Laird recorded her second goal of the season.

The Dutchmen (8-5-2, 1-1-1 CC) reached the scoreboard at 17:08 with Laird's goal. Sophomore Nicole Snyder started the play, hitting the initial shot that was saved by Albright's goalie Olivia Giuliano. The rebound came out to Laird, who slid it past the downed goalkeeper.

Kirkhoff's first tally of the game came at 33:56 off a corner kick, which she took and curled in to the back of the net.

LVC tallied 10 shots to Albright's five in the first half, and held a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks.

The final goal came at 47:11 when Kirkhoff scored after a scramble in front that had the goalie out of position.

Dominating in the second half, the Dutchmen posted 10 shots. Albright registered three shots and had six corner kicks.

Junior Sami Young recorded her fifth win of the season, making seven saves.

Albright's Giuliano played the first half and made three saves, while Kelsey Kuhns took over in the second half and recorded four saves.

The Dutchmen travel to Lycoming on Tuesday for a 3:30 p.m. game.
