LVC XC Blog

This spring, four members of the LVC cross country teams will be studying abroad, and blogging about their experiences living, learning, and, of course, running in their new homes.

Junior Brad Sweigart, captain of the men's team, is already on the ground in Berlin studying at Freie Universität, and women's captain Jenn Cronin will soon join him in Europe as she studies at Universitas Castellae in Valladolid, Spain. Later this month, sophomores Tiffany Frederick and Katie Sharkey will arrive in Hamilton, New Zealand as they study at the University of Waikato.

The blog series, called “Running Across the Globe,” will cover some of what the student-athletes come across while they are running, but also focusing on some of their other study abroad adventures including their academic experiences and what it is like to be immersed in a completely different culture.
