Men's Soccer 9/30/2009 9:41:25 PM Men's Soccer Runs Out of Time at Misericordia Box Score DALLAS, Pa. - Lebanon Valley mounted a furious comeback at Misericordia on Wednesday night, but time ran out before the Dutchmen could rally from a 4-1 deficit. Misericordia's four unanswered goals over a 38-minute span were enough for a 4-3 win. Justin Hutchinson opened the game's scoring, giving LVC a 1-0 lead in the 8th minute. He broke in alone on goal after gathering a through pass from Kelly Hess for the goal. Misericordia tied the match less than a minute later on a goal from 30-yards out by Kevan Nagle after a corner kick. In the 12th minute, Misericordia took the lead with Andy Bush's first of two on the night. He collected a long ball from Chris Hummel and beat Andrew Raudensky for the 2-1 lead. In the 34th minute, Joshua Yoo extended the lead with a breakaway goal - his fourth of the year. Misericordia scored quickly in the second half, needing just 1:14 to bring the lead to three on Bush's second tally. After Nick Ferguson hit the crossbar, Bush sent home the rebound. In the 68th minute, LVC found a spark off the foot of Hess. After a free kick for the Dutchmen was blocked, Hess deposited the rebound into the top corner to cut the deficit to two and giove LVC some life. In the 87th minute, Chris Hall closed the gap to one with his fourth goal in three games. Hess had a chance to tie the game in the 88th minute, but his shot was saved by Andrew Loyd. Loyd finished with six saves for Misericordia. LVC had the advantage in shots, 20-12, and corners, 6-1, but not on the scoreboard. The Dutchmen are now 5-2-2.
