YORK, Pa. - Lebanon Valley picked up a pair of sweeps on the final day of the Spartan Classic at York College. In the first match of the day, LVC downed Rutgers-Camden, 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-18). In the finale, the Dutchmen dispatched York, 3-0 (25-7, 27-25, 25-20) to finish off a 4-0 weekend.

Against Rutgers-Camden, Michelle Little led the offense with nine kills. Emily Hopkins finished with eight.

Hannah Free ended the match with 15 digs, Jess Raber added seven. Ally Stengel was the primary setter, dishing out 26 assists.

Against York, Joelle Snyder had the most kills with eight. Nicole Barra added six.

Head coach Wayne Perry called the match "an intense serving battle" and that is shown by LVC having three players with two or more aces. Emily Perkins had four aces while Free and Rachael Hoffman each saw two of their serves find open space.

Michelle Little led the defense with 11 digs. Angela Kuperavage, Perkins and Barra each added six.

Snyder was effective on the block, making one solo stop while assisting on three others. Hopkins also had a solo block.

The Dutchmen are back in action Sept. 30 at Albright at 7 p.m.
