ELMIRA, N.Y. - Lebanon Valley played #7 Elmira tight, but fell 3-1 in an ECAC West game on Saturday night.

Elmira took a 3-0 lead in the first period, but the Dutchmen kept them scoreless the rest of the way. Unfortunately, the LVC offense couldn't produce a goal until late in the game.

Rick Schrank, Darcy Vaillancourt, and Ryan Jarrell scored for Elmira; Matt Conroy scored LVC's goal with 1:06 left in the game off Matt Kisiday's assist.

The relatively clean game saw just four LVC penalties and two from Elmira.

Rich Drazin made 49 saves, including stuffing Stefan Schoen on a penalty shot late in the third period after Schoen was taken down from behind by Jordan Cutler. Casey Tuttle made 15 stops in just missing the shutout.

LVC will host Neumann next weekend at Klick-Lewis Arena in Palmyra.
