Men's Soccer 10/3/2009 5:41:23 PM Men's Soccer Conquered by Knights Box Score ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley had no answer for Tim Svitak on Saturday, as the Arcadia forward scored three goals to lead the Knights to a 4-1 victory over the Dutchmen in the Commonwealth Conference opener for both teams. Svitak scored unassisted goals in the 6th, 9th and 42nd minutes to give Arcadia a 3-1 lead entering halftime. He was simply too strong in 1-V-1 situations, making his way towards goal and putting shots right where LVC keeper Andrew Raudensky couldn't reel them in. Chris Hall scored in the 36th minute to pull the Dutchmen within a goal, but that was as close as LVC would get. Lebanon Valley had more shots than Arcadia, 15-9, but the Knights made their attempts count. The Dutchmen took nine shots in the second half, trying to get back in the game. Arcadia keeper Jeff Kratohwill made the three saves he needed to make, allowing Anthony Procopio to score the Knights' fourth goal in the 86th minute to ice the game.Print Friendly Version
