Volleyball Takes Down Franklin & Marshall, 3-0

LANCASTER, Pa. - On the first day of the Franklin & Marshall Scramble, Lebanon Valley was not kind to the hosts, defeating F&M in three sets, 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-22). With the win, the Dutchmen improve to 16-1 on the season.

"This was a good, hard-fought match," head coach Wayne Perry said after the win. "It was a battle between their size and our quickness. We were just a little better at key moments."

Jess Raber had an all-around good match for the Dutchmen, finishing with six kills, seven digs and a team-high three aces. She also came through on the block in the second set, stopping a Diplomat run adn settling things down for the Dutchmen.

Joelle Snyder led LVC with 10 kills. Michelle Little also added six.

The defense was a total team effort. Angela Kuperavage led the Dutchmen with 15 digs. Michelle Little was second on the team with 12. Hannah Free came up with seven digs.

Emily Perkins dished out 27 assists from the setter position.

LVC is back on the court on Saturday, playing Cabrini at 11 a.m. and Stevenson at 1 p.m.
