YORK, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College volleyball team split its two matches at the York Tournament Friday night, falling to Eastern University 3-0 (22-25, 19-25, 22-25) before bouncing back to blank Rowan, 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-16) in the nightcap.
The Dutchmen (12-2) had a nine-match win streak snapped by the loss to Eastern.
Against Eastern, the Dutchmen came out flat and never recovered.
Joelle Snyder led the hitting with nine kills and one errors, and
Emily Hopkins added eight swings.
Brandi Roth posted 15 digs, while Erin Yost put up 21 assists.
Against Rowan, however, the LVC offense came back to life, led by Snyder, who tied her career-high for kills in a three-set match with 18.
Angela Kuperavage was key as well with 15 digs and four aces, while Roth dug out 14 balls.
LVC will finish up at the York Tournament Saturday.
