ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College Head Coach
Wayne Perry earned his 400th career win Wednesday night as LVC cruised by Albright College, 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-7), in their Commonwealth Conference opener.
The Dutchmen (11-1, 1-0 CC) hit .436 for the match and served up 12 aces as they won their ninth match in a row.
Perry, in his 22nd season, is now 400-263 for his career.
Sophomore
Emily Hopkins led the LVC attack with nine kills, while freshman
Angela Kuperavage had a terrific all-around match with eight kills, six digs, and five aces.
Jess Raber added six kills, and
Rome Oliver had three.
Erin Yost and
Emily Perkins split setting duties, with Yost putting up 24 assists and Perkins 15. Defensively,
Brandi Roth led with nine digs.
LVC will take part in the York Tournament this weekend starting on Friday.
