DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Senior Kyle Himmelreich earned second-team All-MAC honors as the men's and women's cross country teams competed Saturday at MAC Championships, hosted by Delaware Valley College.
The men's team placed fourth with 128 points, while the women came in eighth with 226 points.
Himmelreich came 11th to earn all-MAC distinctions, finishing the 8,000-meter course in 28:36.47. Guillermo Munoz just missed out on all-MAC honors, finishing 21st in 29:02.44.
Brad Sweigart placed 24th, in 29:14.60, and Jeff Anderson took 46th in 30:33.79. Chris Baurer (48th, 30:43.95) rounded out LVC's team scoring.
On the women's side, Jenn Cronin was the top finisher, placing 24th in 26:16.83. Allison Conety was next in 42nd in 27:57.72. Yesenia Santiago (66th, 31:13.92), Tracey Fortugno (74th, 33:30.60), and Uessica Bui (78th, 34:58.95) rounded out the scoring on the 6k course.
