ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College volleyball team rolled to its 10th straight win and stayed undefeated in Commonwealth Conference play as it blanked Lycoming College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-15) Tuesday night.
The Dutchmen (21-2, 3-0 CC) remain in a tie for first with Elizabethtown College as the only teams left with unblemished conference marks. The Warriors dropped to 10-12 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
After breezing through the first two sets, the third found the Dutchmen down five before they turned around and ran away with a 10-point win.
Joelle Snyder again led LVC up front, throwing down 17 kills to go with four block assists and a pair of aces.
Michelle Little added nine kills and as many digs, while
Emily Hopkins and
Jess Raber pitched in seven kills apiece.
Setter
Erin Yost continued her torrid pace with 38 assists and 13 digs, and libero
Brandi Roth also had 13 digs to pace a solid defensive effort.
LVC will head to Neumann College this Saturday for a tri-match along with Frostburg State University.
