BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its Commonwealth Conference regular season finale, Lebanon Valley rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit with three goals in the game’s final 18:07 as 13th-ranked LVC defeated Moravian College 3-2 Thursday afternoon.

With LVC trailing 2-1, junior Steph Marguglio pulled Lebanon Valley (14-4, 5-2 CC) even with an unassisted goal. Then just two and a half minutes later and with nine minutes left, Marguglio took a pass from junior Claire Behney and sophomore Mimi Sullivan to drill home her third-straight game-winning goal.

The 3-2 score marked Lebanon Valley’s closest game with Moravian since its 2-1 win over the Greyhounds in 1998.

Stacee Cupples gave Moravian (5-12, 0-6 CC) a 1-0 lead when she scored an unassisted goal with 23:24 left in the first half. Cupples’ penalty shot with 5:45 to go in the opening period put the Greyhounds on top 2-0 going into halftime intermission.

Sullivan sparked LVC’s comeback when she punched in an unassisted goal with 18:07 on the clock before Marguglio’s two tallies, her 18th and 19th of the year.

Junior Katie Pawlewicz saved four shots to earn the win for Lebanon Valley while Amanda Gaun made seven saves for Moravian.

LVC closes out its regular season on Saturday, when it hosts Seton Hill University at 1 p.m. in a non-conference game.
