Former LVC standout Ben Guiles ’12 is back for his second season as the team’s assistant running backs coach this fall.
Last year, Brendon Irving ’17 broke his all-time program record for career rushing yards with 4,012 while Guiles coached him to the milestone. Fullback Evan Lysczek was also named First-Team All-MAC under his watch last fall.
A 2011 D3football.com All-America Honorable Mention pick and a first-teamer by D3 Pro Day, Guiles was Lebanon Valley’s all-time leading rusher for a time and a three-time All-MAC honoree. Following his senior campaign, he was named First-Team All-Region by D3football.com and the MAC Offensive Player of the Year. That fall, he ran for 1,226 yards and 19 touchdowns. His 3,924 yards are second all-time among Dutchmen and he set the single season rushing record with 1,330 yards from scrimmage in 2010.
