Freshman Matt Nesmith was named the MAC Rookie of the Year as he earned second-team all-MAC honors at the 2009 MAC Championships Saturday. Nesmith ran a 16th-place 28:25.94 to lead the Dutchmen to a fifth-place overall finish.
