Sophomore safety Dane Eichelberger was named the LVC Male Athlete of The Week after a big game in LVC's 19-13 win over Gettysburg Sept. 6. Making his first career start at free safety, Eichelberger had two interceptions in the game. His first pick stopped a deep Gettysburg drive at the end of the first half, and his second came at the start of the third quarter to set up LVC’s third touchdown. For his efforts, he was also named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week.
