Kellen Markley was named the MAC Freedom Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after he made 21 saves and had a save percentage of 63.6 in a 2-0 week for the Dutchmen with a pair of big wins. The senior began the week with nine saves while facing a total of 27 shots in a big 12-4 victory at Susquehanna. The win was LVC's second-ever victory over the River Hawks in 10 games and the program's first-ever win in Selinsgrove. Markley then came up with 12 saves while facing 32 shots in a thrilling 9-8 comeback victory over defending Atlantic East Champion Immaculata on Saturday. Markley came up with two big saves over the final 10 minutes as the Dutchmen rallied from an 8-5 deficit with the final four goals of the game.
