Zach Wanous ’25, M’26 became an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Lebanon Valley College in August 2026.
Wanous is an Athletic Trainer for LVC’s men’s soccer, women’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse teams.
Wanous joined the staff for the Dutchmen after graduating from the College and competing for LVC’s men’s lacrosse team. He was a two-year team captain and four-year starter for Lebanon Valley, recording 134 ground balls and 63 caused turnovers as a defender. Wanous also tallied seven points with five goals and two assists. He was recognized for his success in the classroom during his time as a student-athlete, earning a spot on the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll as a senior. At Lebanon Valley, Wanous was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Athletic Training Club.
Before starting his career as a full-time Athletic Trainer, Wanous gained clinical experience while completing his master’s at LVC. Most recently, he worked as an Athletic Trainer for the University of Florida’s men’s and women’s track and field teams from January to May 2026. He also worked with Lebanon Valley’s football and men’s basketball teams as an Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2025. Additionally, Wanous acquired clinical experience with Penn State Family Medicine, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, Cedar Crest High School, and Northern Lebanon School District.
Wanous graduated from LVC with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2025 and earned a master’s degree in Athletic Training in 2026. In addition to his education, he is Healthcare Provider CPR & AED certified, and he is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in Pennsylvania.
