Steph Reese joined Lebanon Valley's softball team as an Assistant Coach in 2020.
During Reese’s tenure with the Dutchmen, she has helped guide the program to two conference titles and three NCAA Division III Softball Tournament appearances. The program has also received 29 All-Conference honors in her time at LVC.
In 2023, Reese contributed to Lebanon Valley's successful year, in which the team hosted and won the Annville, Pa. Regional of the NCAA Tournament to advance to the Salisbury, Md. Super Regional. The Flying Dutchmen then won the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Championship in 2024 and 2025. Reese and the other members of Lebanon Valley’s coaching staff were recognized for the program’s excellent 2025 season with the MAC Freedom's first Staff of the Year honors.
Reese attended Lock Haven University, where she majored in Criminal Justice. At Lock Haven, she was an outfielder and a member of the 2006 National Championship squad. During that season, her team went 56-4, and Reese was named to the NCAA DII College World Series All-Tournament Team.
Upon graduation, Reese returned to her high school alma mater of Central Dauphin, where she served on the coaching staff for 11 seasons. During her tenure, the team won multiple district championships, the Mid-Penn Conference Championship, and the Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division Championship. The team also appeared in several PIAA State Tournaments, culminating in the Rams capturing the 2019 PIAA 6A State Championship.
In addition to coaching at Central Dauphin, Reese has worked as a private softball instructor and has coached several local travel teams. In 2019, Reese was inducted with her 2006 teammates into the Lock Haven University Athletic Hall of Fame.
