Scott Salerno ’20 has worked with LVC's offensive line since 2017, and he became the program's Instant Replay Coordinator in 2025. In 2026, he added Video Co-Coordinator and Game Day Information Technology (IT) to his duties.
After sustaining a career-ending injury in his first season as a player for the Dutchmen, Salerno transitioned to a Manager and Student Assistant role to launch his coaching career. In this role, he worked with the offensive line in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, Salerno was hired on staff working with the offensive line.
During his tenure on the coaching staff, Salerno has coached several players who have garnered recognition for their success. In 2025, offensive linemen Trevor Gallagher ’25, Nate Argiro ’25, Logan Milito ’27, Hunter Hanna ’26, D’28, and Jeremy Carter ’28 were named to the D3football.com Team of the Week twice. Additionally, the offensive line of Arturo Ramirez-Guzman ’23, Nick Macon ’23, Hunter Deibler ’24, Jacob Phillips ’24, and Walker Klinger ’22 earned this honor once in 2022.
Salerno also previously coached offensive linemen at youth football camps with Gridiron State Football from 2013 to 2018.
Salerno received a bachelor’s degree in Computer & Data Science from LVC in 2020. He currently works in Mechanicsburg as a Software Developer. He lives in New Cumberland, Pa., with his wife Jenna and their daughter.
