Rachel Miller became an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Lebanon Valley College in August 2025.
Miller is an Athletic Trainer for LVC’s women’s soccer, men’s ice hockey, and men’s and women’s track and field teams.
Miller joined Lebanon Valley after graduating from Alvernia University with a bachelor’s in Healthcare Science and a minor in Biology in May 2025. She also received a master’s in Athletic Training from Alvernia in May 2025. During her education, she was the President and a Public Relations Officer for the Alvernia Student Athletic Training Association. Miller gained clinical experience during this time as well, working with Alvernia’s men’s lacrosse, men’s ice hockey, women’s ice hockey, track and field, and men’s basketball programs. She also completed clinical hours at Albright College, where she worked with the football, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, field hockey, and women’s lacrosse teams. Additionally, Miller’s clinical experience included work with Fleetwood Area School District and Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School.
Miller is a National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) Certified Athletic Trainer, and she holds multiple other certifications. She holds a Pennsylvania state license, a CPR certification, an AED certification, a first aid certification, and a Stop the Bleed certification. Additionally, Miller has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) since 2022.
Miller is also passionate about conducting research in the field. She has written multiple research papers and given presentations regarding how treatment impacts athletes. Additionally, Miller plans to continue conducting mental health research and advocating for the student-athlete population.
Miller resides in Harrisburg, Pa., with her boyfriend, Nathan.
