Philip Berry '17 joined the men's golf program as an Assistant Coach in 2026. Berry graduated from The Valley in 2017 with a degree in Sociology, where he was an all-conference member of the baseball team. He then pursued graduate degrees from Radford University in Virginia and the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, entering the golf industry during this time. Berry's coaching experience formally started in the Grand Strand Region of the Coastal Carolinas where he was an instructor for Project Golf - Myrtle Beach as well as an instructor at the golf academy at the Barefoot Golf Resort in North Myrtle Beach.
Berry is now the lead instructor at The Golf Refinery, a golf instruction company that is housed at The Hickory Club in Annville. He lives in Lebanon with his wife, Rebekah Berry '17.
