Morgan Walker joined LVC Athletics in the fall of 2021 as the Flying Dutchmen's first Sports Nutritionist.
Most recently, Walker worked in a clinical setting at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Allentown, and Warren, N.J. where she identified patients at nutrition risk, calculated nutrient needs, and educated patients and family on current nutrition status, nutrition principles, therapeutic diets, and food selection and preparation among other things.
From Jan. 2020 to May 2021, Walker worked in food service management at Caron Treatment Center in Wernersville. She worked collaboratively with staff and residents in a university dining and acute rehab food service setting.
Walker also has experience as a wellness nutrition counselor at Universal Athletic Club in Lancaster and was a sport scientist for the United States Soccer Federation (Gotham FC) in Harrison, N.J. Additionally, she served as a sports performance coach from 2017 to 2019 at Perseverance Strength and Conditioning in Pennington, N.J.
Walker received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in 2015. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from Rutgers in 2019. In Aug. of 2020, Walker earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama.
