Mariah Leinbach joined the Lebanon Valley College women’s basketball team as an Assistant Coach in June 2026.
Leinbach came to Lebanon Valley after spending a year as a Graduate Assistant at Division II Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. The Hawks went 17-12 during the 2025-26 season and were 14-6 in Conference Carolinas play, falling to fifth-seeded and eventual conference champion, Lees-McRae College, in the quarterfinals. Leinbach was a part of all daily operations for the Hawks, including developing and presenting scouting reports and coordinating team travel. She also played a role in recruiting by leading the on-campus visits.
Leinbach began her coaching career after competing for Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina. She was a four-year member and two-year captain of the Rams women's basketball team, recording 899 points and 481 total rebounds in 102 games with 69 starts. Leinbach delivered a stellar junior campaign for CIU, leading the program with 16.4 points per game and 6.6 total rebounds per game. The forward led the team with 133 field goals made and 86 free throws made as well. Additionally, she ranked second on the squad with 26 assists and 25 steals. Leinbach was recognized for her success as a Ram with First Team All-Region honors as a junior and senior.
Leinbach graduated from CIU in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Studies and a minor in Sport Management. She is currently working toward earning a Master of Business Administration degree in Sport Management from Shorter University.
