Josh Otto ’24 joined the Lebanon Valley College Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams as an Assistant Coach for the 2024-25 season. He is responsible for helping develop the program’s horizontal jumpers.
Otto became a member of the coaching staff after competing for the Dutchmen for five years. He was a leader for the program as a student-athlete, serving as a co-captain for his final two seasons. Otto was a captain in 2024 when Lebanon Valley’s Men’s Indoor Track and Field and Men’s Outdoor Track and Field teams won their first Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships in program history. During his time on the team, he was also the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for two years.
Otto competed in the triple jump and the long jump with LVC and ranked 10th in program history with an indoor long jump mark of 6.57 meters when he graduated. He also competed on outdoor sprint medley relay teams that ranked sixth and eighth in program history when he graduated, posting times of 3:47.04 and 3:47.75, respectively.
Otto succeeded in the classroom as well, as he was honored on the MAC Academic Honor Roll six times during his career. He earned a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Lebanon Valley in 2024.
