Jake Wagner became an Assistant Coach for the Lebanon Valley College baseball team before the start of the 2026 season. He primarily works with the program’s outfielders. Wagner has also served as the Operations Assistant of the Arnold Sports Center since June 2025.
Wagner joined the coaching staff for the Dutchmen with experience in collegiate baseball, as he put together an excellent four-year career as an outfielder for the Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn College) baseball team. During his time with the Wildcats, he recorded a .308 batting average, a .405 on-base percentage, 131 hits, 64 walks, and 76 RBIs. When he graduated, Wagner was third in program history in hits and runs scored while ranking within the top 10 in at-bats, RBIs, total bases, and putouts.Â
While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Wagner worked in athletics as an Intern for In The Net Sports Complex. In this role, he developed marketing tactics to draw attention to the complex and its apparel line. Wagner was also an Intern for Everything Athletics, an athletic training facility that provides instruction for several different sports. His responsibilities in this position included managing the company’s social media accounts while promoting its sports camps and events. Additionally, Wagner volunteered as a member of the tarp crew for the MLB Little Classic in Williamsport, Pa., in 2021 and 2022.Â
Wagner earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports and Event Management from Penn College in May 2023.Â
