    Assistant Coach - Horizontal Jumps/High Jump
Frank Gilbert has worked with the Lebanon Valley College Men's and Women's Track & Field teams since 2007. Gilbert is responsible for developing LVC's horizontal jumpers. Gilbert has developed the long and triple jump events into one of LVC's strongest assets, earning multiple Middle Atlantic Conference medals and podium placings since joining the coaching staff. 
 
Career highlights include the 2012 season as LVC dominated the indoor championships with 57 points in the long and triple jumps, including long jump champion Farrell, who qualified for NCAA Indoor Championships, and men's long jump gold medalist Joey Miller. Outdoors that spring, Caleb Wiley worked a long-triple sweep as the teams combined for 65 points in the events. In 2013-14, Gilbert coached the MAC indoor champion in the long and triple, Olivia Jendrzejewski. Jendrzejewski would go on to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the indoor long jump in both 2016 and 2017.
 
Gilbert is a graduate of Delaware Valley College, where he was a three-time NCAA qualifier in the triple jump. Before coming to LVC, he had coached at his alma mater Lower Dauphin High School from 1990 to 2006, where he mentored multiple PIAA District III and state medalists. He was also a football Assistant Coach at Lower Dauphin from 1990 to 1999 and served as Offensive Coordinator at Thaddeus Stevens College in 2000. Gilbert resides in Marietta with his wife, Angie, and son, Noah.
