    Defensive Volunteer Coach
Evan Kutzler ’25, D’27, became a Defensive Volunteer Coach for the Lebanon Valley College football team before the start of the 2025 season. 

Kutzler joined the program’s coaching staff after a four-year playing career as a standout free safety for the Dutchmen. During his time with LVC, he made 88 total tackles and tallied 13 interceptions. Kutzler ranked third on the team’s all-time interceptions list when he graduated. Additionally, he played a key role in helping Lebanon Valley earn trips to the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series during the 2022 and 2023 campaigns. Kutzler garnered several accolades for his success on the gridiron, receiving All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) First Team honors as a senior and D3football.com All-Region 1 recognition in his final two seasons. 

Kutzler also excelled academically at Lebanon Valley, being named the first Dutchmen Football player to earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honors (First Team) in program history in 2024. He was chosen to the CSC Academic All-District Team twice as well. Additionally, Kutzler was selected as a MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete and to the inaugural Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) Academic Honor Roll in his final season. He was also named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll in all four years and the Academic All-MAC Team twice. Kutzler graduated from LVC in 2025 with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science, and he is currently in the graduate phase of pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
