Ethan O’Loughlin ’24, D’26, became an Assistant Coach for the Lebanon Valley College Baseball team before the start of the 2025 season. He will primarily work with the program’s infielders.
O’Loughlin joined the coaching staff after concluding a four-year playing career for the Dutchmen, in which he helped the team win two Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Championships and reach the NCAA Tournament twice. The former Lebanon Valley infielder recorded a .304 batting average with 52 RBIs and 54 runs scored during his career. O’Loughlin also stole 12 bases in his four seasons, including seven in his senior year. Additionally, he tied LVC’s single-game record for steals with three against Stevenson University on March 13, 2024.
O’Loughlin garnered multiple accolades during his career, including All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention recognition for a senior campaign in which he hit .395 with 13 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He was also honored in 2024 with selection to the MAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
O’Loughlin succeeded in the classroom while attending Lebanon Valley as well, as he was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll three times. He graduated from LVC in 2024 with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science. O’Loughlin is currently in the graduate phase of pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy at the College.
