Elliott Kleckner '18, M'19

Elliott Kleckner ’18, M’19, has been a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Lebanon Valley College men’s tennis team since the 2024-25 season. 
 
Kleckner competed for the Dutchmen for four years as a student-athlete and served as a captain in his final season. During his career, he contributed to two of Lebanon Valley’s Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Championship appearances. Kleckner also earned All-MAC Commonwealth Honorable Mention recognition and Lebanon Valley College Men’s Tennis MVP honors after a strong 2018-19 season. 
 
Kleckner has remained involved with tennis after finishing his playing career with the Flying Dutchmen. He is currently the captain of three United States Tennis Association (USTA) teams in leagues for players over 18, who have a National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) rating of 4.0 or 4.5. In this role, Kleckner has reached Sectionals in five of the last six seasons. 
 
While attending LVC, Kleckner also competed for the Esports team during the first two years of the program. He was a starter for the Hearthstone team and was named the Esports MVP for the 2018-19 campaign. Following his Esports playing career, Kleckner was an Assistant Coach for one year before serving as the Head Coach from 2020–2024.
 
Kleckner graduated from Lebanon Valley in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Economics and earned his MBA in 2019. He currently works in information technology (IT) as a Business Systems Analyst for Lift Incorporated. In his spare time, Kleckner is also an Ice Hockey Referee at the NCAA Division I and Division III levels. He resides in Lebanon with his wife, Julianne.
