Danielle Alexander joined the Lebanon Valley College women’s soccer team as the Goalkeeper Coach in 2026.
Alexander came to The Valley with nearly two decades of soccer coaching experience. In addition to her role at LVC, she has been the U23 Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach for Hershey FC since May 2026. She was also an Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach for the Carlisle High School girls soccer team for three seasons, working with the program through the fall of 2025. Alexander worked with Keystone FC for nearly 12 years in various positions as well, including over four years as the U23 Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach, nearly four years as the Girls Director of Goalkeepers, nearly 11 years as the Youth Team Assistant Coach, and over seven years as the Head Goalkeeper Trainer. As an Assistant Coach for Keystone FC, she helped guide teams to four Pennsylvania State Cup Championships, three Pennsylvania State Cup runner-up finishes, and four Eastern Regional Championships.
Alexander was an Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach for the Red Land High School girls soccer team for 12 seasons and helped guide the program to become the spring 2012 District 3 runner-up. Alexander was also an Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach for the Red Land Middle School girls soccer team for five seasons. Furthermore, she was a Junior Varsity Coach for each of these teams for a season.
Alexander holds several certifications, including U.S. Soccer Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11. She also has a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma and a USC Analyzing Goalkeeper Performance Diploma.
Alexander graduated cum laude from Elizabethtown College in May 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She also received honors in Psychology. Alexander has worked at the Penn State College of Medicine for over 20 years and currently serves as a Research Project Manager Supervisor with the Division of Autism Services.
