Chad Schell has been an Assistant Coach for Lebanon Valley since 2008.
Schell was a three-time All-Conference selection in high school and a two-time District All-Star. He holds two school records: total strikeouts and complete-game shutouts in a season.
Schell attended Lock Haven University and was a four-year letter winner. He currently holds the school record for shutouts in a season (three) and in the 2001 season, he had three consecutive shutouts in PSAC action. He graduated from Lock Haven in 2002 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Psychology.
At Lebanon Valley, Schell has coached a few all-conference pitches including, Kyle Kingsbury who is the school's all-time strikeout leader. He is a Rapsodo Certified pitch design specialist and holds private instruction at Champs Performance Training in Lebanon.
Currently, Schell works in the Center for Academic Success at LVC as the Academic Success Coach.
Schell resides in Mount Joy, Pa. with his wife Jamie and their two sons, Nolan and Reese.
