Bill Giovino '88 currently serves as Lebanon Valley's Tight Ends Coach and is an Assistant Special Teams Coach, the Team Faith Leader, a Junior Varsity Coach, the Senior Offensive Assistant, and the Community Events Coordinator. He began his second stint coaching at LVC in 2014, after previously spending two seasons on the staff. 

Giovino volunteered as an Assistant Wide Receivers Coach from 2022 to 2024 after working with the offensive line from 2016 through 2021 and the defensive line in 2014 and 2015. He also assisted with the linebackers during the 1995 and 1996 seasons. Giovino was a four-year starter and letter winner as an offensive lineman, playing center for legendary coach Lou Sorrentino ’54 in 1984 and 1985 and guard for LVC’s all-time leader in coaching wins, Jim Monos, during his first two years at the Valley in 1986 and 1987. Giovino is a Hall of Fame Coach from nearby Lebanon High School, where he was one of only three coaches since 1922 to lead the Cedars to three straight winning seasons. While coaching at Lebanon since 1988, he coached many players who went on to play at the collegiate level, including LVC’s Hall of Fame Inductee and all-time leading wide receiver, Adam Brossman ’08, University of Maryland’s All-Century Team Offensive Lineman Todd Wike, and former Penn State All-American Defensive End and first round NFL draft pick, Jared Odrick.  Giovino is the retired Principal of Lebanon High School. He has a daughter, Antonia, and resides in Reinholds, Pa., with his wife, Mary.
