Logan Stroman begins his second season at Lebanon Valley during 2014-15, working with sprints, hurdles, and middle distance runners.
Stroman is a former NCAA Division I All-American at the University of Minnesota, winning four Big Ten team titles with the Gophers and an NCAA bronze medal as part of their indoor distance medley relay in 2010. He specialized in running the 400m, 600m, and 800m distances as well as the 400m hurdles.
In his first season, Stroman made an instant impact as he helped mentor freshman Lauren Decker snap a long-standing program record in the 400m. He also developed a trio of 400m hurdlers, Kyle Fronk, Kevin Johnson, and Jamielyn Samper, as they set new LVC top-10 times. Fronk was the MAC silver medalist in the event while he and Johnson qualified for ECACs; Samper was the MAC bronze medalist as a senior.Â
Stroman began his coaching career as an assistant at Chaska High School in Minnesota, working with the team's sprinters and middle distance runners while also coordinating weight training for that group. He coached nine different school records between 2011 and 2013.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in coaching from Minnesota in 2011, and his master's in Applied Kinesiology from the U of M in 2013.
