Cliff Myers has been an assistant coach with the LVC women's tennis team since the 2009-10 season, after retiring as the team's head coach in the summer of 2009.

One of LVC's all-time winningest coaches in any sport, Myers compiled seven championships and 300 wins in his coaching career with the men's and women's programs, including Commonwealth Conference titles for both teams in 2009.

As the programs' head coach, he had a career record of 170-112 with the men's team and a 130-113 record with the women's squad, and was the all-time winningest coach for both programs. Myers was a six-time Commonwealth Conference coach of the year and won seven conference titles, six with the men and one with the women.

The 2008-09 season was a memorable one for both teams, as Myers led the men and women to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearances as both won the Commonwealth Conference. The women, led by CC Player of the Year Sarah Grodzinski, captured the CC title with a sparkling 18-4 record, while the men upset the tournament's top two seeds to win their championship. After the season, Myers was named CC Coach of the Year for both teams.

Myers was born and raised in nearby Hershey, Pa., where he played tennis for Hershey High School. He attended Penn State where he was a three-year letter winner and two-year captain of the Nittany Lion tennis team. Myers graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1972.
