Marina Venezia enters her second season as an assistant coach in 2019. Venezia played her lacrosse at Division I Lehigh University.
The Long Island, N.Y. native began playing lacrosse during her freshman year of high school and won County and Long Island Championships to go along with a runner-up finish at states in her junior season. As a goalie, she worked closely with Al Bertolone, who is now the head coach at Mt. Sinai and coached the team to three state championships. Venezia played at Lehigh for three years but could not compete in her fourth season due to injury.
The chemical engineering major has worked with several goalies in Long Island at the high school and collegiate levels, and currently she coaches the goalies at Xtreme Club Lacrosse.
