Scott Prohaska

LVC Head Softball Coach Scot Adams has announced that Scott Prohaska will join the Flying Dutchmen’s coaching staff as an assistant for the upcoming 2022 season. Prohaska will work primarily with hitters and infielders.

Prohaska has much experience both as a coach and a player. Most recently, in the 2018 season, he spent time as an assistant coach at Albright College where he helped with recruiting, practices, developmental skills, and helped manage games and assist with decision making.

In the spring of 2014, Prohaska worked as an assistant varsity softball coach at Governor Mifflin High School. In 2001, he was the head varsity softball coach at Ephrata High School after working as an assistant the year prior.

As a player, Prohaska still competes in fastpitch and has over 25 years of playing experience at all levels. He has multiple top-5 finishes at various national tournaments and has been named to the men’s fastpitch All-American Team five times. Earlier this year, Prohaska and his squad captured the 2021 Men’s ASA 50+ National Championship in Florida.
