Ralph Carfagno finished his eighth season with LVC in 2015 and has over 20 years coaching experience at multiple levels, including eight years with the Central PA Krunch and seven years at Milton Hershey School.
Carfagno was with Lebanon Valley when the team won its first MAC Commonwealth championship and earned its inaugural trip to NCAA Regionals in 2008, and has coached LVC's batters to five NCAA appearances and four conference titles, including three in a row in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Nine Dutchmen batters have reached the 100-hits plateau under his guidance, including all-time hits leader Tessa Deardorff '15, career home run, RBI, and doubles leader Allie Hartman '14, and two-time NFCA All-American Sammy Bost.
He has assisted the Pennsylvania ASA by giving coaching seminars to recreational and school programs to assist with their player development and in managing the overall coaching process.
During his last three years with the Central PA Krunch before coming to LVC, his teams entered 27 tournaments, medaling 11 times and earning five championships. The teams' overall record during this period was 149-49.
Carfagno has played both fast and slow pitch softball at different levels.
